Beach Renourishment Complete in NMB Beach Renourishment is complete for the City of North Myrtle Beach. Crews are now wrapping up final touches, including tilling, smoothing, and the installation of sand fencing. While most areas of the beach show noticeable improvements, some sections already met the project’s design standards and therefore required less sand, making changes in those areas less visible. Overall, the City’s experience with the project has been very positive. We appreciate the continued partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the professionalism of the contractor throughout this effort.
