Overall, Year 7 has shown tremendous growth and development throughout the year. They have seamlessly transitioned into their new roles as confident and independent learners, forming new friendships along the way. Their enthusiasm for learning new subjects is evident, and they have taken ownership of their education by being responsible for their own learning and staying organised. It’s been inspiring to see the pride they take in their achievements, as reflected in the abundance of positive classchart points they have earned. During the Student Led Conference, their passion shone through as they set ambitious goals for themselves, demonstrating their commitment to personal growth and improvement.
The Astronomy trip provided an enriching experience for students to explore the wonders of the universe through interactive exhibits and visual displays. This hands-on approach enabled them to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of celestial bodies, sparking their curiosity and wonder. Similarly, the day trip to Dubai Safari Park offered students a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about various animal species in an immersive environment. It was a day filled with excitement and camaraderie as they enjoyed the company of friends while marveling at the diverse wildlife.
In addition, the Olympic Multi Sports Day showcased the competitive spirit and determination of Year 7, with Ruby house emerging victorious. Their teamwork and perseverance were commendable, highlighting their ability to work together towards a common goal. Overall, Year 7 has had a memorable and successful year, characterised by growth, learning, and memorable experiences. I have no doubt that they will continue to excel in the years to come, building upon the foundation they have laid this year.
