WIS Yearbook 2024

CAS Service Learning

Our Year 12 students have really embraced CAS and Service Learning showing a huge amount of enthusiasm and our Year 13 students have worked hard to finalise their experiences with detailed reflections. This year we also asked our Year 13 cohort to prepare a presentation showcasing their CAS experiences and their CAS Project. The students really benefitted from doing this as it highlighted to them just how much they have achieved across Creativity, Activity and Service. Our Service-Learning students in Year 13 worked hard to complete their 50 hours of service and to detail all of their experiences. There are many different opportunities happening, including; Big Brother Big Sister, Mental Health First Aiders, Well-Being Ambassadors, being scorers for the DP Golf, MUN, Dare to Lead, Born to Sport, Basketball Competition for Year 10 & 11 and so much more. There is no better way to showcase what has been happening but to ask our students to show Student Voice and tell our community what they have been doing. Please see below some examples from our current Year 12 cohort for CAS and Service Learning. Ruth Dunn Head of Year 12, CAS & Service-Learning Coordinator
