THE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING The College comprises of seven departments undertaking diverse programmes of study, from human geography to laboratory-based subjects, to engineering. Students benefit from working alongside leaders in their fields, making the College an exciting environment for both staff and students.

OUR STRUCTURE With around 4,000 staff and more than 20,000 students representing 115 nationalities, our efforts in discovery benefit from the rich diversity and talent of our University community. Our staff work across three colleges and professional service areas, this enables us to work across disciplines, bringing innovative, collaborative approaches to our research and teaching. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES The University’s Professional Services are led by the Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, and have staff located within academic departments, Colleges and Corporate Services. Professional service staff work in partnership with academics to support the University and help it grow its influence locally, nationally and globally. THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES AND PSYCHOLOGY Based in some of the newest purpose-built and modern facilities in the UK, the College offers a wide range of courses and education in the areas of laboratory, clinical, and health through the provision of innovative education and globally recognised research.

THE COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES, ARTS AND HUMANITIES

The College includes a wide range of social sciences and arts disciplines and supports a variety of interdisciplinary work. The College is home to approximately 1 2 ,000 students, including our new School of Business, which together provide a rich and rewarding global educational experience.
