I would like to personally invite you to our 19th annual bull sale, and thank you for taking time to look at our offering! I have to start out by thanking all of my family. My wife, Kami, and our 2 daughters Kyra and Kasey, all play a huge part in our operation and we could not get done what we do without the tremendous amount of work they all put into it. Our operation would not run and be what it is without all the work that Kami puts in! Kasey is now done with college and works full time with us which has been a tremendous attribute. Kyra did all of our pictures again this year and also helped with our ad and catalog design and loves her new job working for Hannah Shroyer at Honor Ag Branding. They are truly amazing at what they do! We also have to thank our parents for all the work and time they spend helping out. Whether it be feeding cattle or helping out on the farm or running errands for us , all of their help is greatly appreciated! Finally, we have to thank Blake and our newest employee Atley as well as all our neighbors for all their help throughout the year. They are a huge help with anything we ask of them and we appreciate all that they do for us! The bull’s being offered this year are a tremendous set of stout, high preforming, easy doing bulls. Our bulls are fed right and built for longevity. Feet and legs are extremely important to us and our bulls are fed a high roughage diet with the idea of lasting longer and being problem free for a longer period. All of the bulls selling will have 50k data collected on them and will be posted in the catalog. We hope this gives our customer more confidence, and aids in the selection of their bull. We take great pride in the bulls we offer you and only offer the top 1/3 of our bull crop born. The cattle market now is unlike anything we have seen and the outlook is nothing but positive for the future. Whether you are selling calves after weaning or taking them to finish, pounds pay right now! We have a unbelievable set of bulls that will add pounds and performance to anyone’s herd and also had premiums for those taking them to finish. There has truly never been a better time to be in the cattle business for anyone! I want to again thank Hans, Erik and their family for once again being a part of the sale and bringing a tremendous set of bulls to the sale. The Burken families are as good of people as you will find anywhere and we thank them again for bringing us a tremendous set of Sim influenced bulls. Our sale will begin at 2:00 on Sunday, March 8th and we will serve a complimentary lunch beginning at 12:00.
