Tillsonburg Hydro and the Independent Electricity System Operator have joined together under the HOME ASSISTANCE program to help Ontario homeowners and tenants make their homes more energy efficient. Who is eligible for the HOME ASSISTANCE program? What is the save ON energy HOME ASSISTANCE program?

You are eligible for the HOME ASSISTANCE program if you own or are a tenant in residential housing – such as a detached or semi-detached house, a townhouse, a mobile home or a unit in a duplex, triplex or other multi-residential building and your name appears on the electric utility bill (unless you live in Non-profit housing).

The total annual income of all persons living in the household is less than:

If in the past 12 months, you received at least one of: • Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) • Allowance for Seniors • Allowance for the Survivor • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) • Ontario Works (OW) • National Child Benefit Supplement (NCBS) • Healthy Smiles Ontario Child Dental Program • Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) • Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) • Natural Gas Low Income DSM Program
