The SASE Part-Time Faculty Committee currently has an opening for adjunct faculty. The committee meets monthly and seeks to support the experience of part-time faculty. Past areas of focus have included the development of teaching awards, strengthening onboarding, and refining the fee remission process. Background info can be read here. Buzz & Flutter: Cultivating, Creating, and Caring for Our Creatures was selected for the 2023 Spirit & Place Festival. The event will be on Saturday, November 4 th at Garfield Park Art Center. “Butterflies and bees pollinate our gardens and gift us with a harvest to use all winter. But, where do bees go? How do flowers prepare for the return of spring? What can we do to sustain and and nourish ourselves and our friends, the pollinators? Guests will explore interactive activities at Garfield Park Arts Center (GPAC) including art making, creative writing, food preparation and more.”
