SASE would like to recognize Dr. Emily Watson on ff the successful defense of her dissertation on June x 20th, 2023. She pursued a Doctorate of Education.x Congratulations, Dr. Watson!

You might know Diane Moore as one of our esteemed adjunct faculty for Communication; however, she is also a free-lance writer. Diane was recently awarded two 1st place awards and one 2nd place award for her writing by the Woman’s Press Club of Indiana, a nonprofit organization established in 1913. Last year, Professor Gerald Maki was invited to serve as a United Nations Research Fellow via the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)’s Global Diplomacy Initiative. A paper from one of his projects - “COILS, Critical Peace Education, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals” - was recently published by UNITAR.

Stephanie Lewis Robertson’s work Unknowing is on view at the Jewish Community Center June 26 to August 17 in the Religion, Spirituality and the Arts Retrospective. Unknowing is bleached linen with machine stitching and, to Stephanie, is a depiction of a journey into the unknown. You can take a closer look at her work below. Be sure to check it out in person before the closing reception!
