SASE Student Showcase 2023 This year, we put together the first annual showcase for SASE Students - and to our surprise, it went off without a hitch! It was humbling and heartwarming to see all the students having a good time, taking pride in their work and practicing their professional presentation skills while their families, friends, and teachers looked on. Please enjoy these photos and blurbs detailing this successful event.
Students in CHEM 106 have a project where they choose an element and do a deep dive on a real-world application of that element. Three students (shown above) presented their projects at the SASE student showcase (their elements were neon, helium, and calcium). They all really appreciated the opportunity to show off their presentations from class. One student was thankful for the opportunity to practice sharing her ideas in a public setting, and another student made some networking connections which should be beneficial to her academic and career goals.
