Dear Cattlemen, We are pleased to welcome you to the 10th Annual Sidwell Ranch and Frank Herefords Bull Sale. Life in agriculture can be a little trying at times, but we hope 2025 closed out with prosperity, optimism, and a sense of ease that many of us have been patiently waiting for. As we began planning this milestone 10-year anniversary sale, both ranches agreed on one thing: stay true to our roots. That meant continuing to stand firmly behind our three “P” philosophy - Performance, Precision, and Productivity. We wanted this year’s offering to be extra special, and by sticking to our motto, we refused to waver on quality or functionality. As a result, this will be our largest offering to date, featuring over 60 head of yearling, long-yearling, and two-year-old Polled and Horned Hereford and crossbred bulls. Over the past several years, we’ve carefully sourced new herd sires from across the industry, genetics that not only complement our registered cow herds, but also the commercial cows many of you have worked hard to build into your programs. We continue to see a unique opportunity to phase out older bulls that may be past their prime and replace them with younger, higher-performing bulls that offer longevity, added value, and fresh genetics. With the U.S. beef cow inventory still a bit soft and the continued buzz around F1 females, timing matters. Whether your goal is retaining heifer calves, marketing bred heifers down the road, or simply adding pounds to your steer calves, the bulls in this offering are built to get the job done, no matter your end goal. As in years past, many of the dams and granddams of these bulls remain in production within both herds. We continue to emphasize longevity, soundness, and real-world functionality, paired with performance and the kind of “front-pasture” cow you enjoy seeing every time you cross your ranch. We encourage you to study the offering, dig into the pedigrees, give us a call with questions, or stop by the ranches for a personal inspection. Bull videos will also be available for viewing during the second week of March. We look forward to seeing you March 23rd at the Sidwell Sale Barn in Columbus, Montana.
