Jax State Headed To Cure Bowl JSU wins CUSATitle

Pierce The Sports Ledger The Jacksonville State University football program has accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 StaffDNA Cure Bowl at Camping World Stadium in sunny Orlando, FL. The JSU Gamecocks will play Mid-American Conference Champion Ohio on Friday, December 20 at 11 a.m. Central Time. The game will mark Jax State's second consecutive bowl game and the program's second as an FBS member. Last year Jax State defeated Louisiana Tech 34-31 in overtime at the New Orleans Bowl to claim the program's first ever bowl Victory. "We are incredibly honored to accept an invitation to the 10th annual Cure Bowl in Orlando," said Vice President for Athletics Greg Seitz in a press release from the University. "We are excited to compete on a national stage and proud to support the Cure Bowl's meaningful mission in the fight against cancer. I know our team, fans and alumni will have a great time and create some unforgettable memories in this prestigious event."
