Events In Review: Your Impact In Action
The 17 th annual Get Up There (GUT) climb, powered by Di5, smashed expectations—raising over $100,000 to boost completion rates for the fecal immunochemical test (FIT). Every year, more than 170,000 FIT kits land in mailboxes across Nova Scotia for residents aged 50–74. But here’s the kicker—only 46% get sent back. GUT participants and sponsors are working to change that. Raising the bar, increasing the return rates, and saving more lives through early colorectal cancer detection.
