Have you been affected by redundancy or do you need help getting back into work?
Unemployment can be a difficult time for anyone. We provide a variety of free part time courses for adults who are unemployed and are seeking to return to work, or individuals who would like to develop their skills. We teach practical skills for individuals or local businesses. We can also provide information, guidance and access to careers information to help you get the most out of your time with us. We run courses predominantly at Leigh Park Learning Centre. Built around developing or learning new skills and increasing confidence, we have specifically designed courses in partnership with employers, local authorities and job centres, to meet not only your needs but the employment opportunities within our local communities.
These courses are mostly offered face to face, though some are also available as online taught versions. Using dedicated staff with industry experience and delivering nationally recognised qualifications, these programmes are fully funded if you are unemployed and in receipt of benefits such as Universal Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance and Employment and Support Allowance.
