ABOUT US

Our Story Most innovations begin as simple ideas in the minds of problem solvers. This one, was actually the result of a mistake. Upon purchasing his first home, Kevin Hancock decided to go about wall hanging his new flat screen TV when he made a simple calculation error to determine the ideal height of the outlet to go by behind the TV. The result was the outlet was still partially visible above the TV! In his quest to solve the problem, he entered his garage in 2002 to construct a simple frame for his television to hide the outlet. He emerged with a solution. What he later realized based on repeated accolades from the guests to his home is this frame had already become a working prototype as the centerpiece of what is nowa successful international business. Realizing that nothing unleashes the full potential of ideas like collaboration between like minded entrepreneurs, Kevin eventually handpicked a team of experienced designers and cabinet makers to build on his prototype. The result was a quality custom television framing solution that subtly compliments the decor of any room.

It would later become far more than a simple frame to conceal a TV, but rather a piece of motorized canvas artwork or even a TV mirror.

Our FrameMyTV experience I found FrameMyTv 5 years ago when we were renovating a new house that we had purchased. My wife didn’t like TV’s in general, but conceded a TV in our master bedroom if I could “hide it”. After I found FrameMyTV I said “what if I can give you a TV in that room behind a beautiful framed Monet-like impressionist looking print. She said “good to go”, and that’s how we started with FrameMyTV. They have been amazing, and now we’re renovating a house in Florida. My wife’s feelings haven’t changed, so now we’ve engaged FrameMyTV to make not just 1 but 3 covers for our TV’s in Florida. This time we’re doing the family room, master bedroom, and office in the new renovationwith them. We have a lot of seaside type roll-up prints this time, which will look great in this house. Great product, no regrets. It has been almost two years now. Straight forward installation. The roller artwork works perfectly.

First Class Experience I am an interior designer in LA and my client wanted a TV in a room designated to be his personal office. I am not in love with TV’s just hanging on the wall as they are typically off and look like ugly black rectangles. The solution? Frame My TV. Best Choice The people from “Frame My TV,” took me into the building, showed me several displays, offered many ideas, and options. About the Artist

Let our professional artist, Karen Sperling, create a masterpiece from scratch just for you!

We can provide any style of painting to fit any decor and color scheme, from classic to Impressionistic to photorealistic and pop art, depicting a variety of subjects ranging from bridal, individual, family and pet portraiture to landscapes, still life, abstracts and more. Your Fine Art TV Cover is original artwork painted by hand brushstroke by brushstroke directly on the computer using Corel Painter software and a Wacom stylus and tablet. Using these state-of-the-art, cutting-edge art-creation tools, Karen can paint a painting for your Fine Art TV Cover using just about any photo for reference, just as long as the photo is clear and you have permission from the copyright owner if you didn’t snap it yourself. And the source photos can be from the past or present. We can go over photos with you to decide which would be good candidates to be turned into a custom painting for your Fine Art TV Cover.

Send us a photo or something that you would like to have us convert into a painting and our accomplished and world renowned artist, Karen Sperling, will turn a simple image into a masterpiece. Shown here is an example of a painting Karen painted for us and the source photo that was provided by our client -- it was their favorite vacation destination and Karen transformed it into a work of art using colors that fit the client’s room decor.

The Process

We make the process for turning a photo into a painting for your Fine Art TV Cover as straightforward as possible. Once you submit your photo, we go over your thoughts about how you envision the final painting and we also make suggestions based on traditional art theories for the painting’s design. Karen then proceeds to paint the painting, from sketch to completed work, showing you steps along the way for your input and guidance so that the final result is a painting that you will love to display as your room’s Fine Art TV Cover centerpiece.

Here you can see the interim steps, from sketch to final painting, that the client saw as the painting progressed.

Our artist Karen Sperling is the original Corel Painter expert who wrote the first several manuals when the software debuted over 20 years ago. She has been a leading Painter expert ever since, from publishing books and teaching classes about her process and techniques to painting commissioned artwork. Her works have been exhibited in New York and during Art Basel Miami Beach and is held in private art collections internationally.

What’s Included

• Initial consultation with artist, Karen Sperling to discuss the project overall, your preferences, and color schemes • Preliminary Black and White sketch for your review to agree on the general composition of the image • General color pallet version of the preliminary sketch • Detailed painting for final approval or final round of revisions if necessary • (1) Test Strip upon request. (2 week lead time) • 1 license for use of the image with your TV art cover. The artist, Karen Sperling, is the creator and ultimate copyright holder of the image and therefore retains the right to use this image at her discretion and/or to resell the image in the future. The box didn’t look so hot so I was concerned but their packaging literally saved their glass. The packaging was perfect. Lastly, the install.... with the other company I had to have 3 techs verify it was assembled correctly. With Frame My TV, it was a completely mindless install. I almost felt bad for charging the client for it!!! 8 screws, a couple of pads and an IR repeater (WHICH WAS INCLUDED!!!!!!!!) and up it went. I can’t tell you how happy I was to find that IR repeater in the box. I didn’t think about it before hand, and because it was there I didn’t have to run to the store. After that, they called to see how the install went. Who does that? Amazing customer service. And they didn’t bug either, it was just one call. And she was oh so pleasant too. If you’re on the fence, you can step off. Top quality product and company, bottom line.

Extremely Helpful The staff was extremely helpful in explaining the steps involved in customizing a solution that would allow a large screen television to blend aesthetically with the rest of the interior. Many of my clients desire the big picture provided by a large sized television viewing screen, but don’t relish the look when the TV is turned off. Moreover, FMTV’s wide range of choices in frames is a great attribute. As an interior designer, I know that every detail matters.

Excellent product and service! A little pricey I am 100% satisfied with the quality of the product as well as the communication and service I received prior to purchasing. The ONLY reason I did not rate 5 stars is because of price. Even though it is a premium product that was clearly superior to all competitors I compared them to, they were also the most expensive by a significant amount. I think they could/should lower prices across the board (at least for mirror glass only orders). The sampler packs were extremely helpful in determining the right product for my project. I highly recommend taking advantage of this option (especially since the cost will be deducted from your final purchase). The OptiClear probably would have been my first choice for my bedroom TV project, but (due to cost) I ultimately chose the Reflections Vanity mirror glass which fortunately works fine in our lighting situation.

Fantastic company to deal with This company is fantastic. Very helpful on the phone when trying to figure out what to order and just as fantastic when your order is ready. Both Randy and Kevin were so helpful and knowledgable that it was a pleasure to do business with this company. Would definitely order again if the need arises for another mirror/tv.

Awesome solution! We wanted a formal living room look but still have a TV. Using Frame My TV gave us the perfect solution. Thankfully, we were in the middle of a major remodel so we had a carpenter already onsite. Buying the complete package from FMTV was out of budget for us. We found by just buying the glass, our carpenter was able to make us a custom frame that matched all of the other finish work in the house. This is a qualitly company with a quality product I recently renovated a kitchen and included a hidden TV behind a 2-way mirror above the kitchen sink. Reflecting into the mirror is a chandelier and glass doors opening to the outside. This light, combined with a kitchen skylight, had me concerned about the quality of the TV image, daytime and nightime. After ordering mirror samples fromFrame MyTVand testing themin front of aTVimage, I selected ‘Reflections,’ whichwas to give tome greatmirror reflectionwhenTVis off and moderately goodTV image whenTV is on. This was a custom job and required exact measurements. By phone I ordered the mirror, J-channels, suction handle and Blackout Backing from a competent FMTV rep. Everything arrived professionally packaged and exactly as ordered. I was pleasantly surprised that the TV image during the day was better than I thought it would be. And the image at night is excellent. This is a qualitly company with a quality product. I strongly recommend that all buyers order the four mirror samples and test them before placing an order. Each of the four mirror options has its advantages and disadvantages. Know what they are before you buy and you will not be disappointed.

Surprised by how great this is! I purchased a custom sized TV mirror for a bedroom remodeling project. My wife and I decided to use the mirror as a compromise - she didn’t want a TV in the bedroom and I did. We agreed that if we hid one behind a mirror, we’d both be OK with it. I found the FrameMyTV product online and ordered a sample kit. Kit came promptly and the instructions were very good. I was quite skeptical but we decided to give it a try. We built our own frame around the OptiClear Ultra mirror and mounted it on the TV. I was blown away the first time I turned the TVon. Itwas bright andyou I could barely tell itwas behind a mirror. Yet when turned off, it is pure mirror and the TV is invisible. It worked out exactly as I had hoped. We did look at other competitive products and I chose the Frame My TV product as I felt it was of higher quality based on the sample kit.
