we are not just selling real es- tate assets, but rather, find - ing solutions and connecting the dots for our clients that are not evidently clear. I per- sonally have found that much of my success has resulted in my ability to create and arrange transactions based on a deep understanding of what the need and priorities are of our clients. What challenges and or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to become as successful as you are today? When first joining the in - dustry, I had to become more organized. There are a lot of moving pieces in our busi- ness, and I quickly realized that being able to quickly absorb and record informa- tion to access later would be critical. Taking steps such as creating an internal tracker for my assignments to keeping a meticulously filed email inbox eventually created a routine of being able to handle numerous

transactions at once. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduat- ing from college? The best advice I could provide to anyone looking to begin their career in the industry is best stated by a quote which was written by T.S. Elliot. “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go”. I could never have connected the dots of where I am today from when I first started, but I firmly believe that showing up day one with a mindset of constantly push- ing yourself beyond what you think you are capable of is where you find the most growth and success in your career. Making the extra call, spending an extra hour in the office or reading one extra article, these are the things that those around you will notice in you and in turn, will make it more likely for those same individuals to invest in you and your career. hat is your great- est professional accomplishment?

My greatest professional accomplishment is when I was provided the opportunity to be elevated to the role of Director within the New Jersey Capital Markets team. Knowing that my ultimate goal was to create and struc- ture transactions, I dedicated several years of my career to understanding the busi- ness alongside adding value to my colleagues around me however possible. Having spent my entire career with my current team, it is an honor knowing that through my hard work, I have earned the respect and trust of some of the industry’s most promi- nent professionals. What were some of your early goals and did any- thing happen to change them? While we all work for mone- tary goals, my main objective within the first few years of the industry was to learn and

retain as much knowledge in as many segments of the business as possible. In our line of work, our value add to our clients is our time, and our time is most valuable when we are most informed and knowledgeable on the topic at hand. I have always strived to take in information and educate myself on new topics, even if I was not sure if it would ever be applicable in my current day to day responsibilities at the time. This mindset was only rein- forced further later on in my career, as the ability to speak to all parts our firm and the

industry has been the most consistent piece of advice I have received from industry leading professionals. What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most successful in your profes- sion? I believe that alongside some of the more apparent qualities such as persistence, organization and transpar- ency, the ability to listen is a critical component to our pro- fession. While it is sometimes easy to forget when running your day to day business, it is important to remember that
