This popular and free event welcomes 100 artisans and merchants to the park. Visitors will find unique handcrafted wood, pottery, jewelry, and much more on display and for purchase throughout the weekend. Food, drink, live music, and a juried art show add to the festive spirit of this event. The Village Green & Commons | YLOODJHJUHHQFDVKLHUVQFFRP )UDQN$OOHQ5RDG&DVKLHUV 7KH*UHHQ0DUNHW | 2 – 5pm each Wednesday Grass-fed beef, freshly baked bread and bagels, locally sourced honey, wild caught fish, eggs, herbs and spices, foraged mushrooms, fresh produce, and naturally raised pork are among the fabulous items you can find at the Green Market, a weekly farm to table shopping experience. %OHVVLQJRIWKH$QLPDOV | October 2, 11am - 12pm The Blessing of the Animals is a tradition in the Cashiers community started by the Church of the Good Shepherd. Cashiers area churches will observe this annual event. Bring a chair to this gathering with animals that features music and prayer in celebration of all God’s creatures great and small. Each animal receives a special blessing. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the Cashiers Highlands Humane Society. Besides monetary gifts, items like blankets, rugs, towels, Milk Bones, unscented cat litter and canned dog and cat food are useful as well as always needed.
