The aggregate amount of gains made by Directors on the exercise of share options during the year was £20,000 (FY23: £446,000). Retirement benefits are accruing to two Directors (FY23: one) under a defined contribution pension scheme. Other payment reflects the total of payments to an Executive Director in relation to stepping down from Executive Director responsibilities as described in the Remuneration Committee report on pages 78 to 96.
