Reaching Out Community outreach initiatives bring resources to the masses

“A lot of people don’t even know they have [mental health] problems” - Vincent Faust STOP marketing director

Not everyone has the means or motive to seek out help when they most need it. Others simply might not know where to look. For anyone struggling - from the homeless to the hungry, the addicted to the AIDS patients, crime victims to ex-criminals - sometimes people need help to come to them, and that’s where the community outreach teams at Sobriety Through OutPatient (STOP) and One Day At A Time (ODAAT) offer their expertise. The services they provide act as a testament to STOP and ODAAT’s genuine concern with community well-being. The recovery programs alone, by reintegrating individuals into society, contribute to the overall improvement in neighborhoods across Philadelphia. But there are always more to reach.
