After an incredibly wet Spring, no doubt like us, you are looking forward to a dry, warm Summer. Imagine it’s a scorcher and you’re caught out with more winter woollies in your wardrobe than loose and light separates. Let us help you find a few summer pieces to help you beat the heat with cool, comfortable, and great value fashion. Summer wouldn’t be the same without our printed short sleeve polos. We believe in transparency and fostering strong connections with our customers. That’s why we’re excited to kick off our journey of sharing behind- the-scenes insights, starting with the incredible work of our Customer Service Team. Your point of contact! Working shift patterns, six days a week, they are the heart of our business, dedicated and providing exceptional support and ensuring every customer has a seamless customer service experience. We regularly hear customers exclaim “I spoke to you the last time I called!”
The Postie arrives at our office in Brampton at 8.00am and by 8.30am the Customer Service Team are unpacking post orders and preparing to open the phone lines at 9.00am. On a busy day they’ll typically answer in excess of 1,000 calls and receive over 150 orders sent by post. With Monday and Tuesday, our busiest days, there’s no time to sit back and relax. A small but mighty team, many of them juggle family commitments and studying alongside work, but we are delighted that so many of the team have worked with us for many years. All of them live locally either in our beautiful market town of Brampton or in the surrounding Cumbrian countryside. We talk about our family culture but in some instance it’s more than that, we do in fact have mothers and daughters working alongside each other.
As employee owners, the team are encouraged to help improve our customer experience. The business model provides the team with a personal interest in the success of the business and making sure our customers are happy. We pride ourselves in having time for all of our customers, we’re not measured on number of calls taken. Great product knowledge and hands on experience of the clothing range means that the team can give advice on your perfect colour match and sizing needs. If they don’t know the answer to a question, they are always happy to find out. Our Customer Service Team is at the heart of the business and as the ‘voice of the customer’ they share feedback and insight at every level and with every department.
