ANCC at the Capital Cup
Robert Trent Jones Society Passport ANCC is a member of the Robert Trent Jones Society because RTJ, Senior designed the Fairfax course in the 1940’s before ANCC owned the land. The RTJ Society has a Passport program that allows members from reciprocal RTJS Passport member courses to play the Fairfax course on weekday afternoons at the “Accompanied” Guest rate, to be arranged by our head pro. ANCC members may play at 21 RTJ Passport courses (19 US, 2 international). Courses are listed at this link here . The Mid-Atlantic Professional Golf Association recently hosted the Capital Cup, their annual marquee event, at Chartwell Country Club in Severa Park, MD. This two-day event saw top junior golfers from Virginia and Maryland compete against each other in a Ryder Cup style tournament. Sydney Dinh and Emmett Spence, ANCC juniors, represented Team Virginia which won for the third year in a row with a score of 16.5 to 7.50.
