ANNE WOOD BIRGBAUER ‘62 GPUS MEMORIAL FIELD HOCKEY TEAM SPIRIT AWARD The field hockey team and Bruce Birgbauer ‘60 GPUS presented the annual Anne Wood Birgbauer ‘62 GPUS Memorial Field Hockey Team Spirit Award to Michelle Hicks, Athletic Operations Director. The varsity team members selected Michelle to receive the award for her encouragement and never-ending enthusiasm for the game. This award was established in 2019 in memory of Anne Wood Birgbauer ‘62 GPUS, a talented field hockey player, dedicated field hockey parent, and grandparent whose love for the game inspired players to be better teammates and competitors.
