2020 ULS 51 In October, Nolan Allaer ‘20 was crowned a national champion at the 2023 SCCA National Championship Runoffs, in two different racing classes, at the Virginia International Raceway. Allaer defended his Formula Continental championship and finished five seconds ahead of the runner-up — his father Robert Allaer. Nolan was also the Formula Ford class champion. He has been offered a seat in the 2024 IndyNXT series (formerly known as Indy Lights) and will be driving the #11 car with HMD Motorsports. IndyNXT is the premier feeder series for IndyCar. 52 Dan McMann ‘20 and Stan Bryant ‘64 GPUS (center) at the Navy football game in the fall. 53 Kelin Flynn ‘20 and William Gregory ’20 were at the Rose Bowl in January to call the big game for University of Michigan’s WCBN sports radio. Kelin and William met at ULS in the sixth grade when they bonded

over talking about sports stats. They have enjoyed a lasting friendship ever since. Together they call many football and basketball games for WCBN radio. 54 Max Wiegel ‘20, was recently awarded the First Prize in the Nancy Bylan Bratman Excellence in Writing Awards from the University of Michigan. 2021 ULS 55 Trinity Lee ‘21 who is in her junior year at Yale University, is making waves at Yale and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Trinity was awarded an honorable mention for her research on pediatric solid organ transplants. Trinity also presented her research at the 2023 Infectious Disease Week conference in Boston.

Chris represents Nevro, the company that supplies and monitors the stimulator. 2019 ULS 50 William Higbie ‘19 recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA from the School of Cinematic Arts and is a producer and documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles, Calif. A passion project William created during the past two years, is his short documentary: Healing the Discarded - The power of redemption in the prison system . Healing the Discarded, tells the story of Tobias Tubbs, convicted to a life sentence in 1993, then suddenly released after 28 years behind bars. Screenings for the film in February 2024 were hosted at University Liggett School and also in New York City.
