Knoxville Shuttle Driver Shares His Experience With Referrals JODY MIGA was looking for a new career after retiring from the California Highway Patrol. After getting into the transportation industry and moving to Tennessee, he found his perfect fit with Averitt. The experience has been such a positive one that he referred his brother, his best friend and two acquaintances from his CHP days. Referring People Like You has been an easy sell for Jody. He says his friends can tell the difference in his demeanor since he came to our Knoxville team three years ago. “People who knew me in the past see that I’m happier, I’m more outgoing, and I'm not stressed all the time,” says Jody, who started in a nighttime shuttle role and moved to daytime shuttle a year ago. “I go to work every day happy, and I go home happy.” Jody has been able to connect with others who have moved to the area, and he’s found they’re interested in his Averitt story. “I tell them exactly what Averitt does,” Jody explains. “How you get a uniform allotment. How you’re treated like family. You’re not just a number. You come in and the service center director says hi to you. It’s family oriented with great pay.
