Accident grave à Grenville sur la route 148

Selon les informations de la Sûreté du Québec, un automobiliste de 19 ans a fait une sortie de route sur la 148 tôt mercredi matin, près du chemin Scotch à Grenville- sur-la-Rouge. Un «vendeur» arrêté à Rigaud
Un camion citerne contenant du fumier liquide s’est renversé vendredi après-midi à l’entrée nord du village de Plantagenet. Le conducteur a subi des blessures mi- neures alors que le véhicule, qui roulait en direction ouest, a basculé alors qu’il tentait de faire un virage à gauche du chemin de comté 17 sur la Vieille 17, relate l’agent Pierre Dubois, porte-parole du détachement de Hawkesbury de la Police provinciale de l’Ontario. Le conducteur, qui était en route pour livrer le fumier à une ferme à Pendleton, a été soigné à l’Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury. Le ministère de l’Environnement a conclu que le liquide ne représentait aucun danger envi- ronnemental. Le département des travaux publics des Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell a eu la tâche de nettoyer les lieux.
