bodies. There will not only be believ ing Jews and Gentiles, but the Church will also be there. We will be the Bride of Christ while re deemed Israel will be the wife of Jehovah. Q. West Vancouver, B.C., Can. — “I f God is a God of love, why does He allow such suffering in the world? The innocent often are treated worse than the guilty.” A. In our finite minds, how can one comprehend this, except to say that it is in His divine will? The Bible says that in the world we shall have tribulation. But we are to be of good cheer for Christ has overcome the world. While we have troubles, it all depends on how we react to these difficulties that measures the effec tiveness of our testimony as believ ers. It’s a fact, that sometimes we suffer because of our own foolish ness. Sometimes suffering is neces sary for refining. Even as the dross is taken from gold to make it more pure, so there are impurities in our lives that need to be cleansed. Physi cal suffering is a part of the penalty facing the fallen human race. Even though we become believers through faith in Christ, our bodies are still with us, and will be until we get to glory. Make no mistake, God is a God of love, constantly watching over us. We will understand the “why” when we see Him. Q. Flint, Mich. — "Does the Word of God tell us that Jonah died in the belly of the prepared fish, going to hell and then being raised from the dead? Or, do you think God, miracu lously kept him alive all during that time?" A. Bible scholars are divided on this subject, with both views held by good conservative men. “Hell” in this question is better referred to as hades, the abode of the righteous
Won’t we feel sad if we don’t see j them in heaven?” A. Heaven is a place of complete joy I and satisfaction. Nothing will mar 1 that all-important factor. The very | close family relationships we have „ down here are not the same that will j prevail in heaven. Our complete con- i tentment comes in glorifying the J Lord Jesus Christ. The things of the earth will be strangely dim if not j completely erased altogether. Our ? hearts do go out in yearning to see loved ones receive Christ now before j it becomes too late. Q. Lapeer, Mich. — “Will there be any unsaved person allowed to enter \ the millennial kingdom or will they j all have perished? Will all Chris- < tians receive a glorified body? Will \ the believing Jews enter into the \ kingdom with a physical body as they have today?" A. No, there won’t be any unsaved individual allowed to go into the Mil lennium. Christ Himself indicated that He would cast out all these into outer darkness. The unsaved will perish; however, the eternal punishment will be realized after the Great White T h r o n e Judgment (Matt. 25:31-46). By the time of the millennial kingdom all believers, making up the Church, will have re ceived their glorified bodies. It may be that they will be receiving their rewards (I Thess. 4:13-18; I Cor. 15:15-58). There will be believing Jews who will be alive on earth before the kingdom starts. There will be others like Daniel, Abraham, and Moses who will have already gone on. Those Jews who have already passed away before the Tribulation starts will come under that wonderful res urrection of the righteous spoken of in Daniel 12:1-3. Those who are still on earth, the 144,000 who have the protective sign put on their fore heads, will enter w i t h physical
