Wolf Retirement Navigation LLC - December 2022

With 2023 just around the corner, we have big changes to announce! Certain insulin products will have a $35 copay in 2023. Not all insulin products will have a lower copay. You need to check with your plan to see if your insulin is covered with the lower copay. The Center for Medicare Services (CMS) has recognized that there may be confusion over this change and is providing a one-time special election period for people using insulin. The special enrollment period begins on Dec. 8, 2022, and ends on Dec. 8, 2023. This means those who use insulin have a one-time opportunity to change their Medicare Advantage or Medicare prescription plan to take advantage of the $35 insulin copay. Covered insulin is not subject to a deductible or the prescription coverage gap. This change will save thousands of dollars for people with diabetes. Call our office at 904-232-8760 if you have any questions regarding this new benefit. A BIG DEAL FOR PEOPLE WITH DIABETES
