Dear Charolais Friends, Welcome to our 47th Annual Production Sale and our 67th year in the Charolais business. Hubert Charolais Ranch has been breeding Charolais cattle exclusively for 67 years at the same location south of Monument, KS. My father was in the business for 37 years and has been honored by his peers to be inducted into the Charolais Hall of Fame. Myself and my family, along with good help, are entering our 31st year of breeding Charolais cattle exclusively.
We will offer 66 bulls and 15 select females in this year’s offering. Every animal, both male and female will be 100k and PA tested. This will allow you the most advanced genomic information to make your purchasing decisions. Actual birth, weaning, yearling, average daily gain, scrotal and the EPDs associated with these traits are available to you. Carcass EPDs are also listed along with Terminal Sire Index. We purchased a small number of bull calves from our good friend John Allison and his ranch manager David Carter. John and David have purchased some of the best genetics that we have produced. The pedigrees of those bulls are packed with HCR genetics. We developed those bulls alongside our ranch raised bulls. They fit in nicely and we are sure you will be pleased with their phenotype and genetics. If you are reading this letter, you know the Power of Charolais genetics and the Power of Yield.
