The Show Must Go On
When Geane Brito isn’t busy helping clients navigate the Miami real estate market, she’s working behind the scenes to support live music performances in the Magic City. As a board member of the nonprofit The Rhythm Foundation, Geane helped facilitate the preservation and revitalization of the historic North Beach Bandshell, a seaside, open-air amphitheater featuring striking Miami Modern architecture from the 1960s. The city-owned venue, managed by the foundation, offers a curated lineup of community events. “As Miami emerges as an international hub of technology and culture, it’s important for us to continue our tradition of live music and meaningful community engagement,” says Geane, who was born in Brazil and moved to Miami in 2000. “The North Beach Bandshell is sacred ground under the stars – a safe place to enjoy sea breezes, perfect acoustics, and brilliant performances.”
THE RHYTHM FOUNDATION has been bringing outstanding international music to Miami since 1988, and Geane Brito has served on its board for seven years.
