The Gifts of Giving Back
Compass agent Adam Gurewicz is passionate about many things, from live music to life outdoors, but his most meaningful extracurricular is donating time and energy to Jewish causes. He is active in both the Jewish Federation of Broward and The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Adam credits his friend Josh Donner with motivating him to get more involved in AIPAC, along with some “good old-fashioned Jewish guilt,” as he humorously puts it. But jokes aside, Adam truly enjoys connecting with a more soulful side of his community. Being part of such a tight-knit community certainly opens doors, but at the end of the day, Adam says it’s the shared interests and lifelong relationships that make his philanthropy so worthwhile.
In Jerusalem, one thousand umbrellas are installed as part of an annual tradition.
