New 27-story building features 232 residences & world-class amenities Jersey City mayor joins Manhattan Building Co. for grand opening of Cast Iron Lofts II J

on the border of Jersey City and Hoboken. Cast Iron Lofts II boasts expansive one-, two- and three-bedroom residences with a full suite of indoor and outdoor amenities and 20,000 s/f of street-level retail space. The Grand Opening of Cast Iron Lofts II follows the suc- cessful lease up of the 155-unit Cast Iron Lofts I apartment building, giving credence to the appeal and market accep- tance of this emerging neigh- borhood setting. Current retail providers include 8 Springs Studio, a Pilates and Yoga studio; Brewshot, a coffee shop; and Viaquenti Academy,

a bilingual pre-school. Construction is well under- way on the next two-tower building which will include 377 residences. When com- pleted, the SoHoWest develop- ment will comprise 1,360 resi- dences in multiple buildings and street-level retail space. The ribbon cutting ceremony occurred with Cast Iron Lofts II fast approaching 70% leased since the start of its rental pro- gram less than four months ago. “We envisioned the Cast Iron Collection as a live/play environment that blends oversized, luxury apartment homes with world-class ameni- ties and community retail ser- vices,” said Lou Mont , chief operating officer of Manhattan Building Company. “We’re closer than ever to achieving that goal.” Homes at Cast Iron Lofts II range from 885 to 1,885 s/f of living space. “We have a large number of floor plans to choose from, including apartments with a bonus den,” adds Audrey Spina , director of leasing. “These residences are sig- nificantly larger than those found in high-rise rental build- ings along the waterfront. Each apartment is bathed in natural light and has been de- signed to maximize layout and location, with many boasting magnificent views of the New York City skyline and/or the Statute of Liberty.” The full suite of ameni- ties at Cast Iron Lofts II is highlighted by a resort-style 17,000 s/f rooftop deck with a heated pool, pool-side shower, gas BBQ grills, outdoor fire pit lounge areas, and lush landscaping with a shaded tree grove and sitting area. There’s also a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio and fitness on demand system, business center, private con- ference room, children’s play- room, resident lounge with bar, fireplace, billiard table, shuffleboard and large screen TV; a lobby library lounge and bike storage. Cast Iron Lofts’ unique loca- tion provides easy access to all that Hoboken and down- town Jersey City have to offer. Complimentary daily shuttle service is provided to nearby PATH stations and NY Water- way ferry terminals, while the community’s SoHo Link service offers transportation to select local destinations, including SoHo in New York City. n
