4. Prevention and Education The school is committed to promoting an anti-bullying culture by:
● Implementing a comprehensive bullying prevention program as part of the curriculum. ● Providing training for staff on how to recognize, prevent, and respond to bullying. ● Holding regular assemblies and classroom discussions on kindness, respect, and the importance of inclusion. ● Encouraging students to be upstanders, not bystanders, by promoting peer support. 5. Support for Victims and Offenders ● Victims: The school will offer counseling and support services to students who have experienced bullying. We will ensure that the victim feels safe and supported in the school environment. ● Offenders: Students who engage in bullying will be provided with appropriate interventions to address their behavior. The goal is to correct the behavior through education, counseling, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions. 6. Consequences for Bullying Consequences for students who are found to have engaged in bullying behavior may include, but are not limited to:
● Verbal or written warnings. ● Detention or suspension. ● In extreme cases, expulsion.
7. Monitoring and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant and effective. The school will monitor incidents of bullying and take feedback from students, staff, and parents to continuously improve its anti-bullying efforts. 8. Roles and Responsibilities ● Students: Are expected to respect others, refrain from engaging in bullying, and report any incidents of bullying. ● Staff: Are responsible for enforcing this policy, responding to bullying reports, and creating a supportive environment. ● Parents/Guardians: Should encourage their children to speak out against bullying and work with the school to address concerns. ● Administration: Will ensure that this policy is effectively implemented and that appropriate measures are taken to prevent and respond to bullying.
