Heritage Christian Academy Outside Date Policy
Wherein the purpose of school social events is to serve the Christian families that make up HCA by providing safe fellowship opportunities among the student body of HCA, and with the intent of keeping all school sponsored social events in line with the Mission of HCA, the following policies are to be followed: 1) All outside dates are to be members at or regular attendees of evangelical Christian churches that are able to sign off on HCA’s church membership form as is required of all families whose children attend HCA. 2) All outside dates must have an outside date form as well as church membership form completed by a youth pastor or pastor of their church, and submitted to the school office, no later than the end of the school day the last Wednesday prior to the event. (Those forms can be found on pages 2 and 3 of this document) 3) All outside dates or dates from underclassmen (as is often the case with prom) must be of the opposite sex as the student who is inviting the outside date.
This policy remains in effect indefinitely unless later amended by the administration or board of HCA.
