ROCK HILL (SC) ALUMNI CHAPTER BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE
The Rock Hill Alumni Chapter participated in a back-to-school drive to donate school supplies for the youth in the Rock Hill Community. The event provided book bags and school items to over 700 kids, and the chapter was able to contribute almost $600 in supplies for this effort. The chapter shopped at the local Walmart for supplies and over 30 members served as parking attendants and security for the event. The chapter also contributed $300 in school supplies to the Sanctuary of Life Outreach Center’s Back to School Drive, where another 400 kids were served.
VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVE The chapter's Political Action Committee participated in the Rock Hill Voter Registration drive at South Pointe High School. The chapter hosted three Voter Drives at the local football games in order to boost younger voters. The events proved to be a success with over 50 new voters signed up.
K.R.E.A.M. PARTY The Rock Hill Alumni Chapter hosted the K.R.E.A.M Party as the grand finale of the C Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference. It was held at the Rock Hill Country Club from 8PM-12AM. The atmosphere was filled with “Kream” attire and brothers fellowshipping having a great time. Light hors d'oeuvre were served on behalf of the Rock Hill Nupes. The event was well attended by various members of the Southeastern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc.
