The staying power in our marriage is first and foremost having God be front, center, and the foundation of our union. We have mutual respect for each other and are intentional with our love as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Honest communication (which includes having difficult conversations), prioritizing intimacy, unwavering support, and making a conscious choice to do the work through all seasons of our marriage (good and bad) all contribute to this staying power.
