MANAGING Editor Alesha M. Hernandez Mrs. Hernandez is a career communicator, having over 20 years of Federal, Judicial and District Government service in Washington, DC. She joined the Service Magazine team in January 2025 as the Managing Editor, focused on the intentional layout and design of the publication. Mrs. Hernandez earned her master’s degree in Communications from Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC in 2013 and her bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from the University of the District of Columbia in 2004.
Ms. Hernandez resides in Bowie, Maryland with her husband and three children.
