Dear Iz and Sil
Went on sick call this morn- ing with a sore throat and found out that the tonsils I had taken out when I was eight years old are now as big as almonds. Medical officer told me they were O.K. though and not to bother about them unless they bother me in the future. I trust that by this time, Sil, you’ve conquered your debility and that everything is running along smoothly. Every little thing here is running along pleasantly as you would expect, however, the mosquitoes are loathsome, they actually spit on you before they bite. Speaking of mosquitoes - last night after “retiring” two mosquitoes came into my tent, and, thinking me asleep, the following conversation took place: 1st mosquitoe, “Gee, he looks nice and juicy.” 2nd mosquito, “You said it! Do you think we ought to take him down to the beach? 1st mosquitoe, “What!! - and let the big ones get him! (Believe it or not, I’m work- ing on a method of harnessing waves and creating electrical power thereby.) “Hernando” Shooster
