Reward offered on hit-and-run

The Ottawa Police Services has posted a reward in hope of getting information to help close a three-year-old fatal hit-and- run file. Anyone with information which might help find the person who struck and killed Michael Morlang while he was walking along Frank Kenney Road in Navan, be- tween the Russell Road and Colonial Road intersections, may be eligible for a $25,000 reward fund. The fatal hit-and-run occurred Aug. 11, 2013, sometime between 5 and 5:30 a.m. Police have posted information about the reward at www.ottawapolice.ca/en/crime/ resources/REWARDposter-Morlang.pdf. So far investigators have received and reviewed more than 100 tips that have come in about the fatal accident but have not yet identified a suspect. “We are offering a reward knowing that Things are at peace on the labour front for Prescott-Russell counties.
