Diane Hughes is an AlixPartnersManaging Director in the Financial Advisory Services practice, based in London. Diane has over 30 years of diverse experience in professional services and industry and she specialises in complex forensic investigations andmajor commercial disputes, often acting as an expert witness. Diane joined AlixPartners in 2015 through the Zolfo Cooper Europe acquisition. Diane qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, becoming a partner in 1996. She later moved to group finance at a FTSE 100 conglomerate and was appointed director of merger integration following a £10 billionmerger. Diane has been a director of several companies. She founded her own Internet company in 2001, running the business for almost five years before selling the company to a plc. Diane joined Zolfo Cooper in 2009 to lead forensic and litigation support services. Diane’s expertise covers the strategicmanagement of claims in the UK and Europe and she has extensive experience of negotiating and settling claims. As an expert witness, Diane has adducedwritten and oral evidence in relation to commercial damages calculations, post-acquisition disputes, negligence claims, contentious and non-contentious valuations, insolvency related disputes, and fraud and other investigations.

Stewart is a partner in Clyde&Co’s Insolvency and Reorganisation team. He and his teamact primarily for insolvency practitioners and various categories of financier. Stewart’s experience covers the full range of insolvencywork, fromsales in trading insolvencies tomultinational multimillion pound frauds. Stewart sits on the R3 General Technical Committee, as well as the Consulting Editorial Board for the LexisNexis Restructuring & Insolvency PSL product.
