(Let them tell you what they can of the web, spider and flies or insects getting caught.) ' When you looked at a real spider web, did you see how much work the spider had done and how nice the web looked? Yes indeed, it was very pretty to look at, and it did not look dangerous to' the little fly at all. Did any of you ever see a fly get caught in the web? Well, James tell us what happened. Yes James has told us how the fly would kick and try to fly away from the web, and the more he tried to get his little feet and wings loose from the web the tighter the web would hold him, and while the poor lit­ tle fly was trying to get loose the spider was watching him or coming closer, thinking of the fine dinner he was going to have, for you know flies make the finest kind of dinners for spiders. Then pretty soon the little fly could not move any more for the web held his wings and feet very tight, so the spider came and killed the fly and made a dinner on him. I can remember when Xwas a little girl I always felt so sorry for the fly I would pick him out of the web, so the spider could not get him. A fly
