After travelling all day and the sun was going down, Jacob lay down to rest. There was no soft green grass for him to lie on, and he had a stone for a pillow. As it began to grow dark he felt so lonely, and thought of the nice home he had left, and all because he had done wrong. He was very tired and soon fell asleep and dreamed a beautiful dream. Then early next morning Jacob got up and knelt down beside the stone he had used for a pillow and prayed to God, and promised God he would give him a part of all the money he earned the rest of his life, if God would take care of him. Jacob did very wrong, hut you see he believed in God, and trusted Him, and God forgave him and took care of him.
