If you want to personalize your shield first before you assemble it,
follow these steps:
Step 1: You will use “ Videoflex White Shiny Subli ” to personalize your shield. This Videoflex will be available at the JG Electronics store.
Open the template for the face shield witch you will find on the JG electronics Template CD under Masks and Face shield.
Step 2: Place a piece of die video flex on top of your mat, the white side will face your mat and the silver side will face up. Use normal video flex settings on your vinyl cutter. The blade will be set on number 1 or 2 and the force will be set between 12-15. Always test cut first.
Weed the sheet of vinyl after you have cut it out (Remove all the unwanted areas).
Set your heat press to 165°C and 90 seconds .
Step 3: Peel off one of the templates that were cut with the cameo vinyl cutter from the plastic backing. Print your sublimation artwork so long. Remember to cut your sublimation artwork as close as possible to the print with your scissors, to make lining up easier.

Step 4: Place 10 sheets of normal copy paper on the rubber of your press, followed with your Teflon sheet on top. Place the silver side (glue side) of the video flex facing the Teflon sheet.
Step 5: Place the sublimation print ontop. The print facing the white side of the video flex. Secure with heat tape to the Teflon. Press with medium to high pressure 165°C and 90 seconds.
When done, remove the print and let the video flex cool down completely, before you remove it from the Teflon sheet.
Step 6: Set your press to 120°C and 15 seconds. Let the press cool down to this temperature. Cut the 10 sheets of copy paper the same length as your printed video flex and place it underneath your Teflon sheet on the edge of the press. You will press on the edge because you don ’ t want the entire shield to be exposed to heat. This is very important.

Step 7: Place your sublimated sheet video flex on top of the shield and line it up. Very important : You need to rub out all bubbles with your fingers or soft cloth so that it is smooth and in line before you press it.
Step 8: Place the shield on the edge of your press, make sure the bottom of your print is in line with the bottom of your press edge and secure it with heat tape to the Teflon sheet. The heat tape should not be on your print but the sides of the shield.
Step 9: Cover the sides of the shield that are exposed to the element of your press with 5 sheets of copy paper and put a silicone sheet on top of your print. Press for 15 seconds on 120°C. While you press it, hold the piece of the mask that is sticking out of the press with your hands in line with the press. The reason for this is, the heat will soften the shield and it will bend. So keep it up for now until it is cooled down.

Step 10: After you are done pressing the shield, let it cool down completely before you remove the papers on the sides. Do not remove the shield from the Teflon sheet yet until it is completely cooled down and hard again. This takes a minute or two.
Wooden Items:
- To press the wooden COVID tools you will follow steps 1-4 again.
- For wood, you don’t need a low heat so you can leav e your press on 165 degrees and 15 seconds to press the Videoflex to the wood - Set the pressure of your press to be medium-Hight with the wood item inside the press. - Place the cut out a piece of video flex, that is sublimated already, on the wood and line it up exactly.
- Put silicone sheet on top and press for 15 seconds.

Fabric Items:
-To press Fabric items you will place 10 sheets of copy paper inside of your shirt (very important step).
- Remove the clear plastic backing from the UNPRINTED cut out video flex, and place it on top of the shirt, the silver side facing down.
- Cut out your sublimation print (to make lining up easier) with the vinyl cutter or by hand and place it on top of the Videoflex face down and press on 165°C and 90 seconds together.
