BANKER: A banker works at a bank or financial institution. They are responsible for meeting with bank members (both individuals or companies) and helping them acquire loans through the bank. Banker candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in either business, finance, accounting or economics to qualify for a position. AVG. They are responsible for reviewing an applicant’s financial history and credit score. Credit analysts usually have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics and extensive knowledge of statistics, financial statements and ratio analysis. UP TO $64,000 INVESTMENT BANKER: Investment bankers are investment professionals who combine financial services industry expertise, analytical prowess, and effective persuasive communication skills to support institutional clients in activities like capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. To become an investment banker, you need a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. UP TO $93,159 FINANCIAL ANALYST: A financial analyst is responsible for monitoring market trends across industries and using their expertise to guide businesses and clients on when, where and how to invest. Financial analysts typically work for major corporations, financial institutions, insurance companies and banks. To become a financial analyst, you should have at least a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or accounting. UP TO $71,049 FINANCIAL PLANNER: Financial planners assess the financial needs of individuals and help them with decisions on investments (such as stocks and bonds), tax laws, and insurance. Advisors help clients plan for short- and longterm goals, such as budgeting for education expenses and saving for retirement through investments.
