Ground rules for the restoration of Upper TREASURE

H elping us to grow future champions, the 2022 Giving Day on 24 November has raised $1,139,053 to restore and enhance the hallowed ground of Upper. The world-class turf has been underpinned by the contributions of Christ’s College donors who have dug deep to secure the sporting success of generations to come. In tandem, many donors have contributed to the ‘Put another plaque on the wall’ campaign. They have taken up the opportunity to leave their

mark on Upper by featuring their family name on a dedicated plaque on the exterior of the new multi-purpose sports centre, Upper West. The restoration of Upper features a high-quality irrigation and drainage system, levelling, and new post and rope fencing. All these advancements are the results of the generosity of our wonderful donors. “Our donors lay the true groundwork for creating a first- class ground for players and

athletes, setting the scene for future champions across a multitude of sports and to support Physical Education and Health classes,” Senior Development Manager Shelley Keach points out. “Through this ongoing commitment and support, College can deliver the very best sports facilities, benefitting our boys – today and tomorrow – and the wider community.

“Thank you to all our donors. Generations of boys are very grateful.”
