swiftly advancing to a full-time human factors engineer within the Gateway Program. Her role encompasses providing human factors engineering expertise for commercial, domestic and international partners, coordinating Human-in-the-Loop Testing for crew members, ensuring requirement and standard alignment of project tasks with safety and risk assessments, and managing critical databases to support development and verification efforts. She also currently serves on the College of Arts & Sciences’ Student and Alumni Council.
Ashley Craig (’24) is an emerging human factors engineer and first-generation American, earning a Master of Science in Human Factors. With a foundational Bachelor of Science in Communication Theory and Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, her academic pursuit focuses on cognitive systems engineering, human performance research, error mitigation and human factors in virtual environments.
