About WCN Wisconsin Christian News represents a cooper- ative effort by active Christians from all walks of life. In our pages and on our website, you will find Infor- mation, Education and Inspiration, with a majority of the articles written by members of our “WCN Fam- ily” of contributors. There is something of interest to every member of the family. We hope you are blessed and become a regular reader. WCN seeks, at all times, to publish the TRUTH, regardless of “political correctness,” standing up for America’s historical Christian heritage and urging a return to biblical, moral standards. We offer very thought-provoking commentary, inspired teach- ing, real life testimonies, world, national, state and regional news, plus advice and information from experts in their areas of business and ministry -- all in the various sections of our 48-page newspa- per. In addition to providing valuable content to the Christian community, we focus equally on reach- ing those who are lost and seeking, and those who may have been alienated from church as an institution in the past. You’ll find WCN on the racks in the lobbies of grocery stores, family restaurants, shopping centers and malls and most Christian book stores. Of course, you can also find a copy at many of our “Ministry Partner” advertisers’ business and ministry locations. This is our outreach to the mar- ketplace, and we receive many wonderful testi- monies from people who have found the Lord for the first time, or returned to Him, after many years away, after finding our newspaper in a public place. Our Doctrinal Statement • There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was
• The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all na- tions. The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. • The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and pre-mil- lennial. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He died, was buried and arose from the dead ac- cording to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His kingdom of right- eousness and peace. • The Holy Spirit is sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. • The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as origi- nally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. • Man was originally created in the image and like- ness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring, thereby, both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the love of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. • Salvation has been made available through Jesus Christ for all men; those who repent and be- lieve in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. • It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. • Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mor- tal body. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the church in the present age.

And these were all for- mal portraits, com- plete with studio lighting and back- grounds, which I brought with me to give them the very best quality possi- ble. The portraits I made were cher- ished, and in most cases the last for- mal portraits peo- ple had of their elderly loved ones. After the work was done, everyone who
portraits of any stu- dio for miles around. Word got out and I had cou- ples coming to me to do their wed- dings from all over, including neighbor- ing states, so again, I was doing a lot of traveling. On those travels, I would often stop at the local Chris- tian bookstore. This was back when just about every town in the country had a Christian book-
my blood, though I didn’t know much about the business side of things. Still, as I traveled doing photography, and picking up copies of various Christian newspapers, I thought, “this is a great idea, but it could be done so much better.” And then God began speaking to my heart. “YOU should start a Christian newspaper for Wisconsin, Rob,” He said. “Oh, no, no... I think it’s a great idea, but You have the wrong guy, God... someone else should do this,” was my reply. I fought God on this idea for two years, with the Holy Spirit occasion- ally nudging me to start a Christian newspaper. “I have no time for some- thing like that! I have no experience in that, and besides, things are so busy with the studio, I couldn’t possi- bly do both,” I said. And God’s re- sponse was, “I don’t expect you to do both. Sell your studio and start a Christian newspaper.” “Great idea, wrong guy, God,” I said. Well, long story short — you can run but you can’t hide from God. His prodding became impossible to ignore. “When are you going to start that Christian newspaper, Rob?” And this was at a time when I was at the height of my creativity in the studio. I was making an excellent salary, and the business was prospering greatly. I had no reason to be unhappy. Yet every day I’d get up and go to work and I’d dread going there more each day, for no apparent reason.
Wisconsin Christian News is now in it’s 25th year of publication. Prior to starting the newspaper, I owned and operated a photography studio in my hometown, which I started from scratch. We built up a great business there, with over 300 regular clients. I did wedding photography, baby and child photography, family portraits, high school senior portraits, and the circle then continued as the babies I once did portraits of called on me to do their wedding photography, and then their children’s portraits. I greatly enjoyed the creativity and working with people. We also special- ized in formal portraits of senior citi- zens, and often times I took the studio to them, in nursing homes. I also did a lot of traveling for my work, as we set up a special program, which I coordinated with nursing home Activity Directors. Because it was often nearly impossible for nurs- ing home residents to go out to a stu- dio to have a nice portrait made, we went to them. And every time I went to a nursing home it was a special day. First, the residents would have their hair and makeup done by either the facility’s beautician, or we would call one in. The nursing staff would make sure the residents were all dressed in their finest. Sometimes we’d have husbands and wives pho- tographed together, and often times, the family would participate too, so we were able to do the individuals, couples and family portraits. We
store. And as I traveled to these other states, I found Christian newspapers at these stores. I’d always pick one up. As a side note, I’ve always been very interested in our family history, and in my studies, I learned that our fam- ily had the first newspaper ever pub- lished in Ireland, starting back in the 1600s. I also learned that in every generation of our family, there had been at least one person in the news- paper publishing industry and at least one person working in Christian ministry. I had also worked at a small county newspaper prior to opening my photography studio. And it seems now, I’m the last one left, combining both vocations — newspa- pers and ministry — into one. So apparently newspapering was in

As I said, these portraits were cherished, as they’d really have no other way to have such nice images of their par- ents, grandparents and great-grand- parents. At least one week a month, I would be traveling. I eventually ended up taking my mobile studio to nursing homes in nine states. The rest of the month, my schedule was full back at the main studio, and on weekends it was rare when I wasn’t doing a wed- ding. We developed a style and a sys- tem to create the best wedding

God Will NOT Be Mocked!
By Jim Schneider, Executive Director,
Israelites mocked God’s prophet who warned them to turn and repent. Due to their mocking, horrible consequences came. “But they mocked the messen- gers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, ‘til there was no remedy.” (II Chronicles 36:16) Their mocking led to their own captivity for many years. How ironic that those that mocked our Savior at this opening ceremony joined those who mocked Jesus at His crucifixion. Consider these Scriptures:
VCY America August 2024
It has become trendy in our society to mock God and to mock Christianity. It happens repeatedly by many in the en-
tertainment establishment. It happens on sit-coms and the late-night TV talk shows. It happens on university campuses and in cer- tain political circles. A very blatant, contemptuous, scornful mocking was on full display during the recent opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Paris,
France. A drag queen surrounded by others flaunted the LGBT preferred lifestyle, showcasing their deliber- ate and blasphemous mocking of the Last Supper. Organizers knew full well that this ceremony attracts a world-wide audience. As every moment is carefully timed and choreographed, make no mistake this was planned and orchestrated to make their scorn, ridicule and mocking against God and Christianity as obvious as possible. In the Scriptures, the Last Supper was a very solemn occasion leading up to the betrayal of our Savior, His unjust trial, His death, burial and resurrection. It’s a display of our Savior’s great love for mankind. It is nothing of which to be made light or to be mocked! After outrage was expressed from around the world, a non-apology was delivered by the Paris 2024 spokes- woman, Anne Descamps. She stated, “There was clearly never an intention to show disrespect to any re- ligious group. On the contrary, I think we tried to cel- ebrate community, tolerance. We believe this ambition was achieved. If people have taken any offense, we’re of course really sorry.” Really? How could she or the Olympic Committee not believe this would disrespect Christianity? While they smear Christianity, she believes that tolerance was achieved? Where is the tolerance of Biblical Chris- tianity? Where is their sensitivity to the untold mil- lions of Christians offended by this display? Where is the outrage against those who mock God?
They had no apology to God to whom they targeted their blasphemy. No, it was only if you “have taken any offense, we’re, of course, really sorry.” The organ- izers, the promoters, and the designers of the opening ceremony and International Olympic Committee need to bow in humble submission before God, admit their sin and seek His forgiveness. Had this depiction been a mockery of Islam or of Mo- hammad, the whole city of Paris would have been shut down in protests and acts of vandalism and violence. Olympic organizers would have fallen over one another condemning the presentation. Resignations and fir- ings would have been demanded. Countries would have walked away from the Olympics. All media would have branded it as “Islamophobic,” “xenophobic” and “an act of intolerant hatred and bigotry.” New rules would have been established barring such behavior. But on the contrary, because it was targeted at in- sulting God and Christianity under the guise of “com- munity tolerance,” it was accepted with a simple “We’re sorry if you were offended.” (Try that with Islam.) The warning from Scripture is very clear, “Be not de- ceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7) Indeed, consequences come upon those who mock God and those who represent Him upon this earth. Do you recall the children mentioned in II Kings 2:23-24 who mocked the prophet, Elisha? Due to their mocking, they were torn apart by two she bears.
“And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, and a reed in His right hand: and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked Him, say- ing, ‘Hail, King of the Jews!...’ And after that they had mocked Him, they took the robe off from Him, and put His own raiment on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him….Likewise also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders…” (Matthew 27:29, 31, 41). Scriptures clearly warn that such mocking would be characteristic of our time, “How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. Those be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” (Jude 18-19). These verses clearly characterize the ungodly lust and sensuality portrayed by the participants in the Olympic opening ceremony. Truly another sign that the end is drawing near. And while we speak against this display of degener- acy, we are also reminded that Jesus laid down His life for those who mocked Him and delivered Him up to be crucified. But He will not be mocked. Consequences await. It is far better for such individuals to repent of their sin and turn to the Savior now, rather than to one day meet Him as their eternal Judge! VCY.org

Do you understand the dire situation of our na- tion? The place is being burnt to the ground. We are an evil people in America. Our laws and policies and court opin- ions spit in the face of God. And you still want to proffer your situa- tional ethics and prag- matism to justify your voting for men who openly impugn the law and Word of God? The restoration of a na- tion begins by honoring the law of God. It begins with repentance. And the repentance that is pre- cisely needed here, is
imize homosex in the Re- publican Party platform. And now it has happened. The new platform re- moves the goal of a Human Life Amendment to the Constitution re- placing it with the words – “Republicans Will Pro- tect and Defend a Vote of the People, from within the States, on the Issue of Life.” Understand, this means a total abandonment of what a Republic is by the Republican Party. A Re-
public is founded upon law – the Republi- cans have now handed the preborn over to the mob – one group of people voting to mur- der another group of people. Understand also, that in every state so far that has held such a vote, the people have voted to murder the preborn. This is an abandonment of the rule of law. This is an abandonment of the preborn. The new platform also removes the decla- ration that “traditional marriage and family, based on marriage between one man and one woman, is the foundation for a free so- ciety,” and also removes the demand for the “reversal” of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2015 Obergefell opinion that declared the mar- riage between those of the same sex to be le- gitimate. Have you noticed over the decades that as we vote for the lesser of two evils, the lesser of two evils just keeps getting more evil? Now the lesser evil has gotten more evil again with these platform changes. We need to realize we cannot join with evil to stop evil. We must quit voting for the lesser of two evils by voting for men who openly impugn the law of God. We must put Christ first — and honor the law and Word of the Lord. We do not bring about good and stop evil by brazenly impugning the law of God. Christians should not vote for murder or for homosex – and that is what we are doing when we vote for men who embrace such evils. We should fear God and stop voting for men who openly impugn His law. I warn you on this. “But things will get worse if we don’t vote for the Republicans!” Truth is, they have been getting worse while you’ve been voting for the Republicans. Things have been getting worse and they’re
King Asa, in 2 Chronicles 16:7-10, looked to wicked men to help him win – and what did the Lord say to Asa through the prophet for doing that? “My wrath is upon you.” The Republicans employ fear – fear that the Democrats will win — to stampede the people into voting for their candidate who often embrace abortion and homosex. And I ask, where is your fear of God? Where is our faithfulness to the Lord? We have forsaken the Lord. And we have forsaken His law. When you forsake His law you have forsaken Him. The Scriptures do equate the two (2 Chronicles 12:1,5). And we ourselves – not just as Americans, but as Christians – have forsaken His law and we have forsaken Him. Psalm 9:17 states, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that for- get God.” Proverbs 28:4 declares, “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them.” Men in our day lack bravery and courage. They want to appease and accommodate. And their churchmen help them hide it all behind soft words sold as “spirituality.” Our situation should cause us to humble ourselves before the Lord. Our situation should drive us towards the Lord – not to embrace and proffer cheap political advice. Our situation should cause us not to speak appeasement. Our situation should cause us to
that we quit voting against the law of God. That we honor His law by no longer voting for men who openly impugn His law. As the faithful churchman Charles Spur- geon said, “Of two evils, choose neither.” Repentance is needed. And repentance be- gins by honoring the law of God. “What then is the remedy for the threat- ened destruction of society and for the rap- idly progressing decay of liberty? There really is only one remedy. It is the rediscov- ery of the law of God.” - John Gresham Machen, churchman, professor. Missile Threats Then and Now
Wisconsin Family Connection
C OMMENTARY BY J ULAINE A PPLING President, Wisconsin Family Council
Strengthening, Preserving & Promoting Marriage, Family, Life and Liberty in Wisconsin
August 2024 Looking back, my childhood was almost idyllic. I spent my first 12 years in Atlanta and the rest of my growing up years in Michigan. I had loving parents who were married to each other. I never knew poverty. I lived in great neighborhoods with lots of kids and everyone knew each other. Mom didn’t work outside the home, but she sure worked hard in it. We ate family meals together more often than not. I went to a Bible-preaching church pretty much anytime the doors were open. School time came. I went to the local public school; Chris- tian schools and home schooling weren’t available yet. Mom and dad chose where they would live, both in Georgia and Michigan, based on the public school system. We prayed in our Georgia schools — every morning. We pledged the flag — all of us — no one stayed seated. We even read from the Bible in our Georgia schools — every morning. We were taught a love for America. We were taught America represented free- dom, hope, and opportunity for all of us and for those “huddled masses yearning to be free” from all over the world. For the most part, I loved school and felt very secure there — until the day came in when we had an announcement over the PA telling us we would be having a special drill — in case of a missile attack. “A what? From where?” I wondered as I took cover under my desk. Mom picked me up from school that day and on the way home talked to me as an elementary student about Cuba, Cas- tro, Kruschev, the Soviet Union, Communism and the Cold War. It was the first time I felt unsafe in my home and my school. In a sense, some of the innocence of my childhood was gone. From my perspective back then, nothing could destroy Amer- ica — especially not a madman on a tiny island in the Caribbean Sea, or some man whose name I couldn’t pro-
and becoming wealthy is evil; that personal wealth is wrong, and that the government should redistribute your money to those who don’t have what you have. They will hear Planned Parenthood talk about sex outside of marriage, including that between people of the same sex, as normal and natural — and a personal right and just an- other form of recreation. Starting in Kindergarten, students will be told their biological sex is not important; if they feel like the opposite gender, they can be that — with or without their parents knowing. Biological males are too often allowed into the girls’ restrooms and locker rooms and will maybe even show up on a girls’ sports team. These students will have reinforced the idea that human life evolved from some primordial muck; that they are just animals higher up the food chain. They will hear mocking and scoffing at the idea of a Creator God. Prayer and any other dis- play of Christianity especially will be forbidden and called a vi- olation of the separation of church and state. No, this isn’t what my generation experienced; but it is what students in our public schools are experiencing much of the time. It’s today’s “missile threats” — and it’s much more dan- gerous than the threats I endured. Protecting young people today requires way more than a drill and a dive under a desk. Parents, be aware. Make the right decisions. Exercise your right to make educational choices for your children. Their in- nocence and America’s future hang in the balance. Online: WiFamilyCouncil.org Tel: 888-378-7395
nounce living on the other side of the world. And, thankfully, we did avert those external threats and crises. But what I didn’t know for years was that the philosophy and worldview of the Castros and Kruschevs of the world had taken firm hold in my homeland — and that those ideas, slowly worked into the fabric of our society, would one day destroy us without a missile ever being fired. We’re on the brink of a new school year here in Wisconsin and around the country. Hundreds of thousands of innocent children will go to public schools soon where too many of their teachers have been taught well the ideas of those who first struck fear in my young heart with the reality that America was and is vulnerable to attack. These students will sit hour after hour hearing about toler- ance, diversity, multiculturalism. They will learn that America is just a capitalistic, imperialistic bully. They will be taught that government is the answer to everything — that they are de- pendent on government for everything. Individuality and inde- pendence will be suppressed, but a collective, dependent mindset will be fostered. They will be told that earning money

Finally, I made a deal with God: “Ok, I will do this, but You will need to sell the photography studio for me,” I told Him. I did my part. I put some ads in newspapers around the country. I thought I was pretty smart. I thought I was “off the hook.” I thought “no one is going to be in- terested in such a highly specialized business in a small town like ours.” But the first person to call and come see our operation offered to buy it, at the price I was asking. I trained the new owner for about a year, and then on December 31, 1999, I handed over the keys, left the building for the last time, and was unemployed for the first time in my life, with only this “Christian newspaper” idea, which I had yet to set up. With the proceeds from the sale of my studio, I purchased the needed equipment and remodeled my basement at home to be my of- fice. I was so naive in those days. I thought everyone was going to want our newspaper. I imagined it would be in grocery store checkout lanes, next to the R-rated gossip maga- zines. I thought every church for miles around would want it to share with their members. I thought every Christian radio station would be on board with us, and every Christian bookstore would be eager to carry it. In April of 2000, with virtually all of the funds from the sale of our studio now gone, our first edition came out. And then the hard truth hit me. Those gossip magazines at the gro- cery store checkouts pay massive fees to be located there. Not a sin- gle church would have anything to do with us because we weren’t of their specific denomination. Chris- tian radio stations told me they weren’t interested because we were, as they said, “competing media.” And Christian bookstore owners told me they had no room in their store for something that was given away free, that they weren’t able to make a profit on. We’d gotten our first issue out, but it appeared there was little hope for a second one. I thought we’d have plenty of advertisers to cover our ex- penses. But try selling ads in a newspaper that doesn’t really exist yet. Even my own church, which my family had attended since I was a baby, and which my wife and I had tithed to faithfully for years, took six months to decide to support us, and when they did, they chose the small- est possible ad they could — giving us a whopping $50 a year. I remember sitting down at the din- ner table many times, with my wife and three small children, and thank- ing God for what I truly believed was our last meal, because there really was no money for another one. I thought to myself, “What have I done?” And I took the situation to God, “Lord, I did what you said. I thought You would bless this work
and take care of us, but now You’ve left me in this ‘wilderness’ with no way to even feed my family or pay the bills.” And thus began my ‘wilderness ex- perience’ and my education regard- ing pastors, churches and ‘Churchianity’ in general. I learned a lot, most of it not good, to say the least. The Lord put me through many tests and trials, and it was more than ten years before the fi- nancial stress let up, even a little bit. Yet somehow, God always made a way for another edition of Wisconsin Christian News, and for our family to survive. We’ve learned to live one day at a time, on God’s grace and provision. There was a point when we had a very good advertiser base, as the newspaper expanded and word got around. Instead of distributing in churches, we rented space on racks in grocery store entry ways and gave the newspaper away for free. In other locations, we purchased our own news racks and placed our paper in there. My original vision for Wisconsin Christian News was to be Wisconsin only, but God had bigger things in mind. People in neighbor- ing states began picking it up and taking it back home. Soon we had distribution points in Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois and Iowa, as well as throughout Wisconsin. And the newspaper grew in size as well. For many years now, we’ve published 48 pages every issue. Today we have more readership than ever before, with bulk distribu- tion in 18 states, subscribers in all fifty states plus Puerto Rico. And the quality of our content has increased as well. I believe we have some of the very best writers in the nation, and we aren’t just “fluff” — we’re not just “poetry and recipes.” Wisconsin Christian News is richly filled with substance. If we were just full of nice “poetry and recipes,” there’s no doubt we’d have plenty of paid ad- vertisers. Instead, because we are not politically correct, and because we address the issues and topics that 99% of pastors wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole, our advertising revenue doesn’t come anywhere close to covering even a portion of the needed budget each month. And although we have many paid subscribers now, subscription fees only cover the cost of printing and postage, with about a $4 margin per year. Still, God has increased our reach beyond anything I ever could have dreamed of. We’re literally reaching people around the world. In addition to the printed newspaper, I also do a twice-weekly radio com- mentary, we maintain a very busy website, and I host a weekly internet TV program called “WCN TV.” Many times each week, I get won- derful testimonies from people who are still finding Wisconsin Christian News for the first time, and they’re
telling me there’s nothing else out there like it. Hearts, minds and lives are being profoundly touched. Peo- ple are coming to know the Lord for the first time, or returning to Him after many years away, after en- countering our newspaper. And be- cause we’re in newspaper format, with something of great interest on the front page every month, people pick it up and read it — even those hostile to the things of God. Whereas a Bible, book or tract would be easily discarded or disre- garded, people seem to be drawn to our newspaper. By God’s grace, we’re having a world-wide impact now. I believe all the years of work we put in have led us to this point in time. We cover the most vital news and information of the day that the churches and pastors will not... and we do it all from a biblical perspec- tive, regardless of political correct- ness. We tell people the real truth, in a day and age where telling the truth is not popular, to say the least. But while we now have greater readership than ever before, we also have enormous expenses. For several years now that this publication has been primarily reader-supported. We survive only by the gracious donations from in- dividuals. Advertising and sub- scription revenue is a mere drop in the bucket compared to what we must raise every month to keep this all going. Our printing bill each month alone, can only be de- scribed in one word: “staggering.” I’ve cut every expense possible to the bone, I have no staff, but I’m grateful for our distribution volun- teers who help me get the paper out to news racks far and wide. But starting this month, after being 48 pages for longer than I can re- member, this issue will only be 40 pages. Cutting out eight pages of con- tent is not an easy task, but I’m confident that we’ll still be the best Christian newspaper you can find, and the best source of news and information on the most important things you need to know in the days, months and years ahead, as you walk through this crazy world and honor the Lord. When I started Wisconsin Chris- tian News, we were one of about 225 Christian newspapers through- out North America. Today, there are less than a dozen left. I know there are many wonderful min- istries that need your support and I realize it’s a sacrifice, but if the Lord provides, I’d ask you to also support Wisconsin Christian News . We’re definitely not a huge organi- zation, but we’re having a signifi- cant impact, with eternal consequences for so many, all around the world. If you appreciate the work we’re doing, please know
that we need you — God’s people — to help keep this all going. We can’t do it without you. Email: Rob@WisconsinChristianNews.com Phone: (715) 486-8066

Nicknames were adopted by the presidents based on their plat- forms, some famous speech or some specific trait that they wanted to be known for. Nicknames that they earned from others were often negative, demeaning and in a few cases, they were disgraceful. Some were purely ad hominem and quite personal. Obvious examples would be, Richard Nixon (Tricky Dick) – Bill Clinton (Slick Willie) – Joe Biden (Crooked Joe).
In his speech at the RNC Con- vention, Tucker Carlson said, “anyone can become president, but only a brave person can be called a leader.” Is she bravely laughing in the face of danger or is she laughing at the danger we are ignoring by giv- ing her the idea that she is the heroic new war cry for the media and the nation?
Finally, does Kamala think it’s funny that we hang on every word she says because no one in the world knows about Willie Brown? It’s a fair game to call out Harris for ad- vancing her career by sleeping with Willie Brown. Recently, Greg Gutfeld said that we should stop believing that the race is about Republican v. Democrat. He said it is now clearly about the line between fantasy and reality. Donald Trump deals only with the realities of life in America. Kamala Harris is the star of a Fantasy show where unicorns, giggles and outright cackling are all you get.

To be completely fair, she earned this nickname.
Nicknames were chosen for accomplish- ments, failures and in a few cases, they were chosen simply on physical appear- ances. Chester Arthur was known as “Wal- rus.” Grover Cleveland was “Uncle Jumbo.” Without a single vote yet cast for her nom- ination, Kamala Harris is being labeled sev- eral interesting nicknames; most have to do with her traits. Donald Trump called her ‘Laffin Kamala’ for a while, but then he switched to ‘Lying Kamala’ because she is now the inheritor of the great swirling dark cloud of Biden lies that is now so well A Meeting Place For Wisconsin Christian
Four questions beg to be answered con- cerning Kamala’s laughing episodes, or should we call them “fits?” 1). Why does she laugh so often? Is it a personality trait or something akin to men- tal illness? 2). What is she laughing at? Check it for yourself, the subject of her laughter is never something even remotely funny.

The Salt & Light Brigade
Afraid To Bark
By Coach Dave Daubenmire August 2024
Himself King of the Jews. He challenged THEIR au- thority. THEY were the PO- LITICAL leaders of the Jewish nation and they were enraged that Jesus was at- tempting to usurp it. You know, sort of a First Century insurrection against the PO- LITICAL leaders of the Jew- ish Nation.
The “silence of the lambs” has placed our nation in the position we find our- selves in today. The Amer- ican Church, the voice of the LION of the tribe of Judah, has developed
laryngitis at the time when America most needed to hear it roar. Everything you see happening today is being done with the ap- proval of the local church.
But, Pilate smelled a trap. He knew he had no author- ity over Jesus or the Jewish people. They had their own government that co-existed with Caesar’s government. “TAKE HIM TO CAESAR” the ‘political’ Jews screamed! ‘We have no law to put a man to death!’” The “Church” bowed their knee to secular government and requested that “Caesar” do the Sanhedrin’s dirty work. Oh, Jesus was involved with politics all right. It cost Him His life. Jesus Christ…the sacrificial LION KING! So, you say, Coach Dave, what does that have to do with us today? Everything. In Matthew 28, Jesus made it very clear HIS FOLLOWERS were to GOVERN the earth. Today we label it the Great Commission… GO…and teach the Great Commandment… TEACH. Go and teach…that is what Jesus told His followers to do. Is that what we are doing today, my Christian friend? “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ‘All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have com- manded you: and, lo, I am with you al- ways, even unto the end of the world. Amen.’” Somewhere along the road, the Christian American Church ran into the ditch. Pastors no longer teach “OC- CUPY” and
are we going to “teach all nations” when He is not permitted in our schools? Instead, we pay the Devil’s workers to teach “doctrines of demons” in our “Government” schools. Are we “earnestly contending for the faith once delivered to the saints?” I could go on…but I have said enough. Christ is the CONQUERING KING — not the conquered King. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords RIGHT NOW. There is no such thing as a SECULAR nation. Jesus is LORD — whether we acknowledge it or not. How about YOUR Pastor? Does He know how to bark? Why don’t you ask Him? It is time to flush him out. Satan’s kids are mutilating children. Mur- dering the pre-born. Promoting same sex anal sex. Locking up Christian men without a trial. Publicly blaspheming Christ’s fin- ished work on the cross. Hardly a peep from the pulpit. There are churches on every corner, yet the Central Figure of Western Civilization…the Man by which ALL TIME is measured… BC/AD…Jesus Christ…gets less respect than Taylor Swift.
Prove me wrong.
The prophet Isaiah tells us that HIS WATCHMEN are AFRAID TO BARK. Isaiah 56. Has there ever been a more cowardly group of Christian ministers in the pulpits of America than there are today? The Ameri- can Revolution was led by a spunky group of New Englanders known as the BLACK- ROBED REGIMENT. French historian Alexis de Tocqueville is reported to have said: “I sought for the great- ness and genius of America in her demo- cratic Congress and her matchless Constitution, and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.” The American pulpit has let us down. Let history record that the American pulpit stood mutedly by, afraid to bark, as the en- emies of Christ plundered what Christian men had built. The “Gospel of Tolerance and Prosperity” has turned the Lion into a lamb. It is interesting to note that the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ was referenced as BOTH a LION and a LAMB in the Holy Writ. But how can that be? He is the LION of the Tribe of Judah and He is the LAMB of GOD who takes away the sins of the world. Jesus, through His Church, is both the DEFENDER and the SACRIFICE. What a di- chotomy. I often run into people who complacently say “Jesus didn’t get involved in politics.” Their ignorance astounds me. Jesus lost His life by engaging in the politics of His day.
No Bark…just Baaa…what a pathetic bunch we Christians have become.

GREAT BIBLICAL INSIGHTS from
“FIGHT”…but “SUB- MIT” and “OBEY.” The Luciferian-con- trolled government has usurped all the power given by Christ to HIS DISCIPLES — Us. Me and you. Right here. Right now. Today! Christ is ruling and reigning over all the earth TODAY.
Permit me to explain.
The Roman magistrate Pontius Pilate is credited with sentencing Jesus to death, and that is true. But Pilate only did so at the re- quest of the RELIGIOUS leaders. The Phar- isees and the Sadducees were the POLITICAL rulers of the Jews. When Jesus challenged their POLITICAL power…declar- ing Himself KING OF THE JEWS, He entered the political realm. The religious honchos didn’t like that. Jesus was not a Roman. He was a Jew. The religious leaders took him to Pilate because only Pilate could sentence Him to death. The Jewish leaders were mad because Christ was usurping THEIR power by declaring
Why doesn’t the
church act like it?
Was Jesus lying to us? Did He not have all power? Did He falsely delegate power that He didn’t have to His Body? Are we not supposed to OCCUPY the gates of authority until He comes? How
