LIFE IS A HIGHWAY

Meet Christine and Carlos, lifelong residents of San Bernardino whose lives are intertwined with their passion for cars. They graciously allowed us to feature their cherished 1965 Chevrolet c10 truck on our cover— a vehicle with a rich family history. Passed down from Christine’s father, the truck has become a labor of love for Christine and Carlos, who have poured their hearts into restoring it.

For Christine and Carlos, the truck isn’t just a vehicle; it’s a repository of cherished memories. They recall fond moments cruising through Lytle Creek Park, reveling in the scenery and enjoying each other’s company. These experiences have solidified the truck’s place in their lives. Looking ahead, they eagerly anticipate new adventures along Route 66, envisioning journeys where they can pass down not only the vehicle but also the joy of exploration to their grandchildren. Their commitment to preserving both automotive heritage and family traditions makes them an integral part of San Bernardino’s vibrant car community, embodying a spirit of camaraderie and nostalgia that resonates deeply with locals and enthusiasts alike.
