___________________________________________________ S TRAWBERRY CAKE Gail Whitsey ___________________________________________________ 1 box white cake mix 1 package cherry jello 3 T flour 1/2 cup water 1 c Wesson oil 4 whole eggs 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries DIRECTIONS: Beat ingredients for cake until smooth. Pour into 8” cake pans & bake at 350° for 30 mins. Use a Bundt pan. For the frosting, use 1 box powdered sugar, 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, one stick margarine. Beat together until smooth & frost between layers top and side of cake. ___________________________________________________ S TRAWBERRY CAKE Shirley Walker ___________________________________________________ 1 box Duncan Hines white cake mix 3/4 c oil 3 eggs 1 c strawberries DIRECTIONS: Mix all ingredients pour in tube pan. Cook at 325° for 30 to 35 mins. Frosting: 1/2 to 1 pound powder sugar, 1/2 cup strawberries, 3/4 cup butter, softened, 1/2 block cream cheese. Mix & ice cake. ___________________________________________________ M OMMA’S STRAWBERRY DELIGHT Jonathan Kenner ___________________________________________________ 1/2 stick margarine 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1 tsp sugar 1 c plain flour 1 8 oz Cool Whip 1 8 oz block cream cheese 1-1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 qt strawberries 1 pack strawberry glaze DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350°. Melt margarine 13 x 9 pan mix the rest of crust ingredients in the bottom of pan. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 mins. & let cool. Mix all cream layers ingredients in bowl. Spread on crust. Mix strawberry layer ingredients & spread over cream layer. Refrigerate before serving. ___________________________________________________ S TRAWBERRY PIE - BETTER THAN SHONEY’S Valerie Kemp ___________________________________________________ 1 c sugar 1 cup water 4 T cornstarch 1 small package, strawberry Jell-O 1 refrigerated pie crust 1 qt of strawberries Whipped topping optional- ------------------------------------------------ 1 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1/2 c sugar 1 c powdered sugar 16 oz Cool Whip DIRECTIONS: Brown crust according to package directions. Adjust to 350º when finish baking crust. Wash & slice strawberries & arrange in cooled pie crust. Cook sugar, water, & cornstarch stirring constantly until thick. Remove mixture from heat & stir in Jell-O. Pour mixture over crust & strawberries. Bake for 1 minute. Remove & refrigerate. Serve with whipped topping: c ombine all ingredients and blend until smooth, put in piping bag and use to decorate pie.
