Ginger Ale DIRECTIONS: Combine altogether in pitcher & serve cold. ___________________________________________________ C OWBOY CAVIAR OR NEW YEAR’S DIP Kimberly Reece-Roth ___________________________________________________ 1- 15 oz. can black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed. ¼ c. sliced green onions ¼ c. diced red bell pepper 2 cloves minced garlic ¼ tsp. cracked black pepper – salt 2 T vegetable oil 2 T cider vinegar DIRECTIONS: In a bowl, combine all of the above ingredients. Make sure you both rinse & drain the peas, draining alone is not enough. I do recommend doubling this recipe. I mean…you can try it first, I guess. Enjoy! We eat it with tortilla chips. ___________________________________________________ M ISS EVELYN LEE’S CRUNCHY CHEESE BALL Mary Grey Jenkins ___________________________________________________ 1 8 oz. package cream cheese ¼ c. mayo 2 c. ground ham 1 tsp. minced onion 2 T. chopped parsley ¼ tsp. dry mustard ¼ tsp. hot pepper sauce ½ c. chopped nuts DIRECTIONS: Beat cream cheese & mayo until smooth. Stir in ham, onion, parsley, dry mustard, &hot pepper sauce. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill for several hours. Form into a ball & roll in chopped nuts. Serve with crackers
