___________________________________________________ 7 -UP BISCUITS Shirley Noe ___________________________________________________ 4 c of Bisquick 1 c sour cream 1 c 7-Up ½ c. melted butter DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 425°. Mix Bisquick, sour cream and 7-Up. The dough will be very soft. Knead & fold the dough until mixed. Pat out & cut biscuits. Melt butter in the bottom of the pan & place biscuits on top of melted butter. Bake for 12 to 15 mins. ___________________________________________________ B IG BATCH BRAN MUFFINS Shirley Williams Solomon ___________________________________________________ 1 c. All Bran cereal 1 tsp. salt 2 c. of boiling water 1 qt. of buttermilk 3 c. sugar 1 c. Crisco 4 eggs 5 c. All-purpose flour 5 T. soda DIRECTIONS: Mix All Bran cereal, salt, and boiling water - set aside. Mix sugar, Crisco, eggs, & buttermilk . Add flour and soda. Add all bran cereal mixture & combine thoroughly. Store in refrigerator until ready to bake. Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 25 mins. ___________________________________________________ E ASY CHEESE BREAD ROLLS Dreama McCool Davidson ___________________________________________________ 2 c. Bisquick 2 T. sugar 1 egg 2/3 cup milk grated cheese DIRECTIONS: Grease muffin pan. Mix all together (except cheese). Fill muffin pan half full with dough sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake at 425° for 8 mins. ___________________________________________________ C OFFEE CAKE Candy Hooper ___________________________________________________ 1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe yellow cake mix 4 eggs 1 8 oz. package sour cream ½ c. sugar 2/3 c. vegetable oil 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts Filling: 1 tsp. cinnamon & 2 T. brown sugar DIRECTIONS: Mix cake ingredients. Pour half of mix into a greased & floured tube pan. Mix filling ingredients & sprinkle evenly over layer of cake batter. Spread remaining cake batter over filling layer. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
