__________________________________________________ A NGEL LUSH CAKE Dolly Corbett ___________________________________________________ 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple undrained 1 pkg Jello vanilla instant pudding 1 c thawed Cool Whip 1 10” round angel food cake DIRECTIONS: One 10” round angel food cake cut into three layers. Mix pineapple & pudding mix in a medium bowl. Gently stir in Cool Whip. Stack cake layers on plate spreading mixture between layers & top of cake. Refrigerate for one hour or until ready to serve. Garnish with fresh berries. __________ _________________________________________ A PPLE PUDDING Carolyn Smith ___________________________________________________ 1/4 c butter 1c sugar 1 egg 1 c flour 1/2 c pecans 2 c diced apples 1 tsp soda 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp salt DIRECTIONS: Cream sugar & butter together. Add egg & beat by hand. Stir in dry ingredients sifted together. Add apples and nuts. Bake in 9” square dish at 350° for 30 to 40 mins. Serve with the following sauce : one stick butter melted, one cup sugar, one small can Carnation milk & boil for 2 mins. ___________________________________________________ A RE YOU KIDDING ME CAKE Mary Ellen Lewis ___________________________________________________ 1 box cake mix (any flavor) 3 large eggs, beaten. Cool Whip for topping DIRECTIONS : using wooden spoon, no mixer . Bake at 350° for 35 mins. Top with Cool Whip. Possible combinations: cherry, yellow cake & apple. Use your imagination. _________________________________________ ______________________ B ABY RUTH BROWNIES Jonathan Kenner ___________________________________________________ 1 pkg Pillsbury chocolate fudge brownie mix (family size) 6-8 fun size Baby Ruth bars 2/3 c salted butter melted 1/4 c water 2 eggs DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350° for metal or glass pans. If using dark coated pan preheat oven to 325°. Spray 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray. Unwrap & dice Baby Ruth candy bars. Dump brownie mix into bowl. Add Baby Ruth candy bars mixing so the brownie mix coats the individual diced pieces. Add melted butter, water, & eggs. Stir until combined. Pour into 13 x 9 pan bake at 350° for metal or glass pan, or bake at 325° for dark coated for 28 to 31 minutes
